Bantams

I have raised Banties, on and off, since I was 7 years old. My first three were Japanese Bantams; however, I now have Old English, Dutch, and Seramas in various colors in addition to the Japanese. You can see more Banties at http://www.freewebs.com/carmonabantams.

New additions to our family:

Bantams

Kitty

Kitty came to us in the spring of 2007and has stayed since. The name is not unique, but we didn't want to bother him with a new name in case he visited his old family. He is unique. He watches our chickens in the evenings, fights with raccoons, oppossums, and snakes to keep them away from the chickens, and parades in front of our dogs with no fear. He is some cat!

Here are some of our pet rabbits.          Here is Kitty again!

Visitors

You just never know what you are going to find around our five acres. Here are some pictures of our visitors. As we get more, we will add them here.

Which one is poisonous? Hint: Which one is the King Scarlet and which one the coral snake.

If you don't remember, there are many rhymes to help identify a coral snake vs. a non-poisonous snake:

"Red on yellow, dangerous fellow"
"Red on black, friend to Jack"

"Red on yellow, kill a fellow"
"Red on black, venom lack"

However, be careful since these rhymes are only for coral snakes in the United States.
