Welcome to our website!  Our kennel was established in 1972.  Our family decided we wanted a hunting dog who could also be a companion.  We narrowed down the breeds and chose the English Springer Spaniel because of their elegant appearance , personality and "sillyness"!  We have never regretted our choice!

Pictured above are littermates from the 1980's.  They are Champion Shady Oak's Valdemar ("D.J.") and his sister, Champion Shady Oak's Vesta ("Jessie").
