The GSP Club of SA offers a rescue service for PURE BRED GSP's surrendered to animal shelters.

This not a re-homing service.  
For whatever reason, you cannot keep your GSP, your first point of contact should be the
REGISTERED BREEDER  your GSP was purchased from.

We have two RESCUE OFFICERS who upon being contacted by the animal shelter will go and assess the dog as to whether it is a viable option for re-homing. 

It will be taken to a boarding facility and cared for until such time it is in good condition, received basic training and ready to be re-homed.

Any donations towards GSP Rescue in SA would be most appreciated.  (Blankets, Bedding, Food etc)

Any GSP that is available for adoption will be listed on our web site.
