Below is more information on our adoptable animals. You can also view these animals and more on petfinder.com. For those of you who wish to help, but can't adopt a pet right now, you can now send some support our way by using the Petco e-gift certificate program. Petfinder and Metro AAAA visitors can go to http://petfinder.com/awo/e-gift.cgi, choose our organization and send us a gift certificate via e-mail. We can use the gift certificate to purchase food, supplies, or toys for our adoptable animals at Petco. Thanks for your help!

If you find a dog or cat you'd like to adopt, you can fill out an online dog application or an online cat application. Before any of our dogs go out, they are spayed or neutered. We do not adopt on a first come-first serve basis. Sometimes we receive several applications for a particular animal. In those cases, we try our best to choose the best home for that animal and it does take time to go through the process. We reserve the right to deny any adoption at our discretion. We only take cash or check for the adoption fee.

Please plan to introduce your new addition to all members of your family (furry or otherwise) prior to adoption.

Our Adoptable Animals

Dash is a stunning Tortie. She is in a foster home with Dot and two other cats. Dash does very well around other cats but we are not sure how she would be around dogs. She loves to play with her toys and enjoys a good game of chase with a lazer light. Dash is very friendly and social and adjust very quickly to new surroundings. Her birthdate is 3-21-09. Her adoption fee is $120. This includes spay, age appropriate vaccines, FeLV/FIV combo test. ALL CATS/KITTENS MUST BE KEPT AS INDOOR ONLY PETS

Rugby We can not say enough about this amazing boy who is a cancer SURVIVOR!! Rugby was given a clean bill of health and is ready to find his furever home. He has an amazing personality and is very friendly. Rugby is fostered in a home with two very large dogs and other cats. He LOVES to be held like a baby and rocked! Rugby is very laid back and mellow but still likes to chase his toys and play like a kitten. He has been given a second chance at life and we are happy to say he is doing a great!! Brownie is a just as sweet as her name! She is in a foster home with two other dogs and is great. She is crate trained and completely housebroken. Shes just over a year and a half old and is a medium size dog at 35 lbs. Brownie loves her toys and chews. Her foster mom and dad say shes a very special girl who would adjust into any home when given the love and attention she deserves! She would do best in a home without Cats. Her adoption fee is $225. This includes spay, age appropriate vaccines, and heartworm test. A completely fenced yard is required. Obedience Training Class is required.

Archie is a domestic medium haired black cat with yellow/green eyes and soft, silky fur. He is about 2 years old. He is a sweetie, a real purr machine and will tell you about his day. While he does like to play, he is also a lap kitty and will launch himself into your lap, put his paws on your shoulders, mash his face into yours and give you kisses! He absolutely ADORES tummy rubs!!! He was picked up as a stray and pulled from Livingston County Animal Control. Archie is fine with other cats - quickly adjusting to his foster "brothers." He uses his litter box like a champ. His foster mom says someone lost a wonderful cat. Perhaps he can be the wonderful addition to YOUR family. The adoption fee is $120.
