This is S.D. Bentley, one of my seven handraised puppies.  At the vets office with his mom and littermates for his first 27 hours, he would crawl out from under his warming box towels and sit on top.  All the staff as welI as myself kept having to place him back under.  This earned him the name of "Scrappy Do" as he was such a scrappy little fellow!  I always saw him as a companion puppy, until he hit 7 weeks old.  I started seeing him with new eyes!  He ended up being my pick puppy.  

Nicknames are dangerous, he was called Scrappy Do for four months!  Wanting to call him Bentley, I couldn't bring myself to completely get rid of his nickname.  Some friends came for a visit and said, name him S.D. Bentley, and so I did.  Mr. S.D. Bentley is a "Kingsway young hopeful" for the show ring, now with a fitting name.  During our cuddle time he is still Scrappy Do.  Responding to both names, he seams to prefer Scrappy Do!  He reminds me of his mother every day.  Photo coming soon!
