Crayola 12 Pack
Another exciting and colorful week for the Crayon Kids!!!! The grass is GREEN, the sky is BLUE, the flowers in the garden that they torment and destroy used to be yellow, pink, red, and purple!!!! What IS IT with puppies and flowers? Sort of like, tornadoes and mobile homes!!!
The Crayons caused a sensation at the vet clinic as usual where they went for their final check up. Lots of folks in the office who were more than happy to help carry the little monsters, I mean darlin’s, in and out of the building. Final check up went GREAT!!! All teeth are perfect, all hearts and lungs are clear, no hernias, all little testicles are down!!! Once again the Crayons pass all tests with FLYING COLORS!!! We also got our final worming (yum), first puppy booster (Ouch!) and then microchipped (BIG ouch!!!!) My vet fills out a LONG checklist for each pup, so that every possible health check has been done and documented which I include with all other health documents for each puppy.
Weaning from Momma Foxey is pretty much complete now, but they still like to play with her and she them!!! All are eating puppy mush twice a day and are fat little tubbies!!!! This week it has been warm enough and DRY enough most days for them to play outside in the BIG PUPPY play pen where there are huge rocks and trees to climb on and chase each other around. They have a GREAT time and share a fence with Mom, Dad, 1/2 siblings, aunts, and Grandma!!!
Well, the Color My World litter has been given the GREEN light to go home. I know that for all of their new families this is a RED letter day that they will remember forever!! I also know that everyone is tickled PINK with the great baby Ridgeback that they have welcomed into their new homes. For me this is sort of BLACK Tuesday as I have to say goodbye to them!!! I always have a moment when I’m feeling pretty BLUE about it, but I know that all of the little Crayons have GREAT homes and will bring True LOVE.
