Skippy is a 13 week old retriever mix. He is bright and perky and loves to play with you. We gave him the name Skippy because when he greets you he is so happy he jumps up and down on the spot! He is very sociable, he has visited school where he was a great hit! He is very good with other dogs, he has a very gentle play style, so most dogs really like him (even those who are not fond of puppies!) He is also very good with children as he does not put his teeth on you a lot. My kids say he is the best puppy we have ever fostered!
He is quite confident for such a tiny fella, which is nice as it makes him easy to take any where. He is always willing to try things. He followed my bigger dog into the lake and only when the water reached his back did he realise maybe he ought not to be there.
If he hears an unusual noise he stands and thinks about it and then usually realises it's not really a problem. He would do well in a busy family household. He can play endlessly.
His cutest habit is trying to bury his rawhide chews in his bed.
