- Name: Hank
Breed: Short Coated Chow Mix
Sex: male
Weight: still growing!
Age: ~ 4 months
Coat: tan/beige
- HANK HAS BEEN ADOPTED 4/22/05
- Personality Profile:
- Hank is a calm, gentle puppy who thinks before he acts. He is quite the gentleman, even at this young age! He loves attention and the closeness of people.
- Hank would be a great puppy for someone looking for a couch mate to snuggle with and hang out together.( We suspect he would prefer the Arts Channel to MTV!)
-
Hank is gaining in confidence every day. He has made several dog friends he loves to play with. Naomi is one of his favorites! Hank also seems to like gentle children. He would be a great puppy for a single person orfamily looking for a low key, easy going, gentle puppy."
- Hank's Day out by an APS volunteer
"Our little fellow Hank got to have a sleepover at my house
recently (shelter dogs love a good sleepover since they get to stay up
later than at the Adoption Center). He was a great house guest who
made no messes inside and slept through the night. Hank loves a good
snuggle, but is also happy to lay in his own spot watching movies
quietly. He likes to be where the people are, but isn't too needy of
attention. He just likes to sit and take it all in. He has very nice
leash manners, usually just walking by your side looking handsome and
dignified. He is a very mellow puppy who would probably be happy in a
low-key home with a yard to play in sometimes or some leisurely walks.
He doesn't mind watching the kids play at the park but would probably
rather not have them at home since they might disrupt his frequent
lounging sessions--he needs plenty of beauty rest keep those good
looks!" (Allison, APS Volunteer)
So if you would like all the joys of raising a young dog without all the exuberance and puppy teeth everywhere (ouch!), this sweet and gentle boy could be the puppy for you.
