Malibu "Corral Fire" Saturday, November 24, 2007
Don and I were activated as a "trailer team" by LACDACCERT and made our way to the Incident Command Center for the Corral Fire (which was at the Malibu Civic Center).  As it turned out, no horses needed to be evacuated (we weren't activated until Sunday at about 8 am).
By the way - believe all those signs you see on the stretch of 23 that goes from the 101 to PCH that advise not to haul a trailer on that road -
it's a bit hairy to say the least - but Don said I did a great job

We don't care - we just love him!

Wild Mustang Adoption

along came Badger.
Bob named him because of that marking on his forehead
that looks so much like a badge.

If you'd like to see how Badger is progressing,
