Basics to help build a much better relationship with your equine friend(s) 
 
Discussion:
Definitions / importance of:
Brushing, picking hooves, groundwork, flexing, "my space", handling distractions, warm up / cool down, balanced work, respect and confidence (from the horse), as little as it takes, maintaining a positive attitude, sensitize / desensitize, coordination, setting up for success, reward, rewarding the slightest try, ending on a good note, non-demanding time

Parelli's Friendly Game
Flexing
Lunging
Parelli's Yo-yo game
Yielding hindquarters and forequarters
(Parelli's Porcupine and Driving Games) 
 
Class prerequisite:
None 
 
2 hour class, no maximum number of students
$10 per person
