Ashmar Reg'd Golden Retrievers.
We are a small kennel breeding 1-2 carefully planned litters per year and are located in Mississauga, Ontario.
Our dogs have wonderful temperaments, they are extremely loving, smart, have great personalities, never get tired of playing a game and are a pleasure to own and be owned by. As a breeder, Ashmar is commited to breeding healthy and happy Golden Retrievers with gentle and trustworthy temperaments. All breeding stock have their health clearances. Screening provides us with important health information and includes OFA hip and elbow x-rays, a heart exam by a certified canine cardiologist and an eye exam by a certified canine ophthalmologist.
Our goal at Ashmar is to place each of our puppies in a well-suited show and/or pet homes where they will become an integral part of a loving family and achieve their fullest potential. All of our puppies are raised in our home with a great deal of love, care and attention. We make every effort to have the puppies well socialized before they go to their new homes. We expose them to people, children, other dogs, different types of noises, car rides and a crate is placed in their play area when they are 4 weeks of age. Once they are old enough, if weather permits, they go outside and play. Each puppy in the litter is show/pet quality judged, as well as temperament tested to better help us match you with the right puppy. We screen all applicants before placing them on our waiting list.
We like to stay in touch with all our puppy owners and provide life-time breeder support. We welcome pictures to add to our photo gallery and any calls/e-mails with questions or concerns throughout the puppy’s life. We love to know how all of our puppies are progressing.
