Friesian Stallion born September 25th 2001. Purchased from his breeder Carina Jefferson of Black Minx Friesian Stud, in September 2007. Carina has retained some breeding rights to Eitsje.
Eitsje is by Remmelt 323, and out of the Imported Ster Mare Ulrika. He is a foal book registered full papered purebred Friesian Stallion. Eitsje has recently been living in Tasmania with Lee & Nadeen Davis @ Wallbrook stud, where he has been siring some wonderful Friesian warmblood foals, as well as a Pure Bred colt BB2.
Sired by Remmelt 323 (Dec), an approved Stallion that was exported from Holland to USA. Remmelt measures 16.1hh, is an impressively light but strong mover with the temperament of a gentleman. In Holland he competed against top national level warmbloods in Z2 Dressage. He also won the John Timmer driving award. Judges of the 1996 jury that approved him on offspring commented "Impressive heads", "nice fronts", "easy, light, tactful movement, with good freedom in the shoulder", "roomy walk", "nice front leg action, with the hind legs coming well under in the trot", "Remmelt is a very talented dressage horse, with a lot of radiance"
Ulrika the dam of Eitsje lives with her owner Carina Jefferson @ Black Minx stud. Unable to produce further foals, she has added quality to the Australian gene pool. Her foals include Giske (Tjeerd) producer of top quality offspring, including Xander - Australias only ster gelding, and the 1st Australian bred horse to be awarded ster. Giske has also produced Gealtsje who at 4 months was awarded a 1st premie, Victorian champion and then Australian Champion, Jissel the dam of Wizzard, Reitse (IepeTJ) Stallion in WA , the only Australian bred stallion to be given a Breeding Permit, Aanje (Remmelt) deceased, and Eitsje (Remmelt).
Eitsje is one of only two Remmelt sons in Australia (2007), now he is the only son of Remmelt of breeding age (2009). He has an outstanding gentle nature which he passes along to his progeny.

Eitsje has fitted well into our program here. We have some lovely quality foals on the ground, and are expecting more this upcoming foaling season. We are so lucky to have secured such a magnificent stallion for our farm.
He is available to outside mares via transported chilled semen (proven). Stud fee by private treaty.
